Eleonor and Calum’s marquee wedding at her family home in County Offaly was the ultimate Swedish midsummer garden party. They wanted a day that felt totally relaxed, completely personal and full of fun with all the people they love most.
From Eleonor getting ready with her gorgeous sisters, to the extremely personal (and tear-jerking!) ceremony, officiated by a dear family friend, the day was brimming with laughter, love and heartfelt touches. There were also special nods to the couples' heritage as well - Calum's Scottish roots, and Eleonor's Swedish mother.
Eleonor & calum's vision completely came to life - from using local suppliers to the decor and styling; everything was thoughtful and intentional.
Guests mingled over signature cocktails, garden games (beer pong was a big hit), and a locally catered meal by the awesome Wild Plates, before dancing the night away to the Vinyls.
There were speeches that had everyone laughing and crying, dance floor moves that ranged from classic to questionably athletic, and enough joy to fill the marquee and beyond. As Eleonor put it, it was the best day of their lives!

Eleanor & Calum
Emma was our planner for our 70 person wedding party - we wanted to have someone with knowledge and connections “on the ground” in Ireland - and to take some of the weight off my parents’ shoulders! Having a wedding at home is a bigger job than we had anticipated - when the venue isn’t a hotel you have to think about everything from electricity to tea spoons. Emma exceeded expectations in every way - we had regular video calls for almost a year before the wedding date, and she also called to the house multiple times when I was at home visiting. She helped us find brilliant local vendors and was invaluable with her advice on pricing and what was good value etc.
Emma handled all the relationships with vendors and just kept us updated on what we needed to know. Our wedding planning experience was made stress-free by Emma and it almost felt like everything magically fell into place in the final months of the planning! On the day she also did a brilliant job with her assistant Tina, both of whom I hardly saw but I know they were working hard in the background to deliver a beautiful, seamless day which aligned perfectly with our vision.
Without sounding cliche this was the best day of our lives and we can’t thank Emma and the entire team she assembled enough for making it happen!
